BWE prowadzi działalność od połowy 1990 roku. Od listopada 2007 roku większościowym akcjonariuszem banku jest fundusz inwestycyjny Innova Capital. Dokapitalizowanie banku przez fundusz pozwoli BWE wdrożyć nowy system informatyczny i rozwinąć sieć dystrybucji. Planowana jest również zmiana nazwy banku.

Do tej pory sieć dystrybucji banku liczyła pięć oddziałów. Najnowsza strategia BWE zakłada uruchomienie 50 oddziałów w 2009 roku, a w ciągu pięciu lat – 250. Część oddziałów bankowych ma być prowadzona w systemie agencyjnym.

W tym okresie BWE chce zdobyć 300 tys. klientów, z czego ok. 23 proc. stanowić mają przedsiębiorcy (pozostali – klienci detaliczni). Sprzedaż ma wspierać firma doradztwa finansowego Expander.

BWE prowadzi działalność od połowy 1990 roku. Od listopada 2007 roku większościowym akcjonariuszem banku jest fundusz inwestycyjny Innova Capital. Dokapitalizowanie banku przez fundusz pozwoli BWE wdrożyć nowy system informatyczny i rozwinąć sieć dystrybucji. Planowana jest również zmiana nazwy banku.

Do tej pory sieć dystrybucji banku liczyła pięć oddziałów. Najnowsza strategia BWE zakłada uruchomienie 50 oddziałów w 2009 roku, a w ciągu pięciu lat – 250. Część oddziałów bankowych ma być prowadzona w systemie agencyjnym.

W tym okresie BWE chce zdobyć 300 tys. klientów, z czego ok. 23 proc. stanowić mają przedsiębiorcy (pozostali – klienci detaliczni). Sprzedaż ma wspierać firma doradztwa finansowego Expander.
