Fuzja GE Money Banku i Banku BPH planowana w pierwszej połowie 2009 r. Na początku czerwca GE Money uzyskał zgodę KNF na nabycie 66 proc. akcji banku BPH. Po finalizacji transakcji, co powinno nastąpić jeszcze w czerwcu br., GE Money stanie się właścicielem dwóch banków w Polsce: GE Money Banku i Banku BPH, które dysponują siecią 312 oddziałów. Zamiarem GE Money jest przeprowadzenie fuzji obu banków – po uzyskaniu zgody organów nadzoru – w pierwszej połowie 2009 r.

- Polska jest dla GE Money strategicznym obszarem wzrostu i dlatego zainwestujemy tu w 2008 r. - oprócz kwoty przeznaczonej na akwizycję - około 50 mln USD, czyli jedną czwartą budżetu GE Money przewidzianego na rozwój w regionie Europy Środkowowschodniej – mówi Dmitri Stockton, prezes GE Money na Europę Środkowowschodnią. - Planujemy inwestycje w poszerzenie sieci dystrybucji i rozwój nowych produktów. W ciągu trzech lat otworzymy 220 nowych placówek, tak by w 2010 r. dysponować siecią około 530 oddziałów bankowości detalicznej i placówek świadczących usługi finansowe klientom indywidualnym oraz firmom z sektora MSP. Zamierzamy ponadto rozwijać sieć centrów korporacyjnych wspierających nasze działania w sferze bankowości korporacyjnej – dodaje.

GE Money kupi także 49,9 proc. udziałów w BPH TFI od CABET Holding, spółki zależnej Bank Austria Creditanstalt (należącego do Grupy UniCredit).

Fuzja GE Money Banku i Banku BPH planowana w pierwszej połowie 2009 r. Na początku czerwca GE Money uzyskał zgodę KNF na nabycie 66 proc. akcji banku BPH. Po finalizacji transakcji, co powinno nastąpić jeszcze w czerwcu br., GE Money stanie się właścicielem dwóch banków w Polsce: GE Money Banku i Banku BPH, które dysponują siecią 312 oddziałów. Zamiarem GE Money jest przeprowadzenie fuzji obu banków – po uzyskaniu zgody organów nadzoru – w pierwszej połowie 2009 r.

- Polska jest dla GE Money strategicznym obszarem wzrostu i dlatego zainwestujemy tu w 2008 r. - oprócz kwoty przeznaczonej na akwizycję - około 50 mln USD, czyli jedną czwartą budżetu GE Money przewidzianego na rozwój w regionie Europy Środkowowschodniej – mówi Dmitri Stockton, prezes GE Money na Europę Środkowowschodnią. - Planujemy inwestycje w poszerzenie sieci dystrybucji i rozwój nowych produktów. W ciągu trzech lat otworzymy 220 nowych placówek, tak by w 2010 r. dysponować siecią około 530 oddziałów bankowości detalicznej i placówek świadczących usługi finansowe klientom indywidualnym oraz firmom z sektora MSP. Zamierzamy ponadto rozwijać sieć centrów korporacyjnych wspierających nasze działania w sferze bankowości korporacyjnej – dodaje.

GE Money kupi także 49,9 proc. udziałów w BPH TFI od CABET Holding, spółki zależnej Bank Austria Creditanstalt (należącego do Grupy UniCredit).
