W ramach projektu „Food to Go” do sklepów sieci Spar wprowadzone zostaną stoiska gastronomiczne. W menu, oprócz hot-dogów czy pizzy, znajdą się także tradycyjne potrawy kuchni polskiej. Wszystko w zależności od potrzeb lokalnego klienta. Nowe usługi można będzie wprowadzić do każdego formatu sklepu działającego w ramach Spar.

Wiosną tego roku zarząd sieci Spar zapowiadał, że nowy projekt ruszy w lipcu. Z niewielkim opóźnieniem, bo z początkiem października, startuje pierwszy punkt „Food to Go” w markecie w Pszowie. Zdaniem zarządu Spar projekt pozwoli na efektywniejsze konkurowanie na rynku FMCG w Polsce.

- Jesteśmy przekonani, że "Food To Go" będzie elementem, który pozytywnie wyróżni nas na tle konkurencji i przyciągnie do sklepów wielu klientów - mówi Wojciech Bystroń, prezes zarządu Spar Polska. - Wydzielenie w placówce miejsca na część gastronomiczną to dla sieci możliwość podniesienia obrotów i marży sklepów, dlatego będziemy ten projekt zdecydowanie rekomendować naszym franczyzobiorcom.

Projekt „Food to Go” bardzo dobrze sprawdził się w wielu krajach Europy. Część gastronomiczna generuje ok. 30 proc. przychodów, choć w Irlandii, w jednym ze sklepów o powierzchni 180 m² dania na wynos generowały nawet 90 proc. obrotu.
